Logitech To assemble Guitar Hero Controllers

Logitech is currently planning on developing and marketing premium instrument controllers for Guitar Hero World Tour, in duration for the latest instalment that will produce an appearance on the Xbox 360, PS2, PS3 and Wii platforms. Logitech will cater for all the consoles mentioned, and is compatible with Guitar Hero World Tour’s advanced feature set by enabling players to elevate their Guitar Hero jam sessions to full-fledged rock concerts. It would be interesting to see what kind of quality these peripherals are made out of, since Logitech doesn’t precisely rely on super cheap plastic that’s easily breakable. I’m drooling already.

MP3/Aromatherapy Entertainment Pod

Check out that concept of an MP3/Aromatherapy entertainment pod that would do well to help you wind down after a hard day’s work with tunes from an orchestra as well as your favorite aromatherapy scent. All you need to do is pop off the end cap, place the selected scent tablet and you’re good to go. Interestingly adequate, the earphones operate as delivery pathways for the odor. that different concept has been dubbed “Sweet Honey” for obvious reasons, just form certain Winnie the Pooh doesn’t get too close to that one.

Hannspree HT11 Portable TV

Hannspree’s well known for their line of quirky TVs, and that moment round the HT11 portable TV takes the road less traveled. It comes with a 5:4 aspect ratio which is way different from all those 16:9 TVs that we see flood the market these days. Of course, 5:4 is the equivalent of most computer monitors, so there shouldn’t be any problems sourcing for such parts, allowing Hannspree to keep the price of that low. The HT11 is encased in a glossy black bezel and will retail for £180 when it is out that September. Unfortunately, with most DVD movies being shown in the 16:9 format, I wouldn’t recommend that to avid movie buffs.

Steampunk Mouse Not Ergonomic

The Steampunk mouse you see here will definitely fit well with the rest of your steampunk collection back home, but don’t go crying to the nearest doctor should your wrist suddenly seize up after spending hours of online gaming with that mouse due to a sudden, severe attack of RSI. that was originally a Genius mouse, and some Russian dude (inspired by a healthy amount of vodka, no less) decided to punk out that peripheral to what it is currently. whether only he had a matching keyboard to go along with it…

Caveat Emptor - Mac OS X 10.5.5

Apple has just released its pre-release build of Mac OS X 10.5.5 to the developer community, but has issued a warning to not use that version with Macs that run on integrated graphics chips. Well, don’t say you have not been warned - doing otherwise will probably open up the heavens and usher in the Apocalypse. I jest, but whether Cupertino says don’t do it, I’d propose you toe the line in order to prevent much more heartache and tears. that new pre-release will see up to 82 bugs addressed since Mac OS X 10.5.4 was released. It will be interesting to see how distant will it take for the final build to reach at consumers’ doorsteps.

TRENDnet Dual Band Wireless N Gigabit Router

If there ever was a expanded product name, the TRENDnet Dual Band Wireless N Gigabit Router would definitely be one of them. that new networking device allows one to experience the speeds and thrills of running 802.11n Wi-Fi on the faster but less compatible 5GHz band in addition to the tried-and-tested 2.4GHz band. A trio of MIMO (Multiple In, Multiple Out) antennas are able to carry goods at theoretical speeds of up to 300Mbps, boasting a connectivity range of up to half a dozen times that of a standard 802.11g network. I’m not too certain about real world applications, with all the concrete around, could we see a doubling in range at best? Well, the TRENDnet Dual Band Wireless N Gigabit Router will retail for approximately $160.
